Seven Gauge for all seasons...

I know it’s meant to be summer but as I type this the rain and wind are howling outside the studio window and it feels like October so it strikes me as the perfect kind of day to talk about knitwear.

Let’s look at a new kid in town

Founded in 2022, Seven Gauge is an Italian sustainable brand offering genderless tailoring and knitwear apparel. It launched in January 2023 and is now offering its first Spring Summer 2024.

The brand name is inspired by the seven gauge used in its knitwear.

The carefully designed collection offers only 30 styles, the essential elements of the men's and women's wardrobe while focusing on simplicity, one of the brand foundations, allowing also to avoid waste on the production side.

This is a gender -neutral uniform that has been guided by comfort and fluid shape and a contemporary palette executed in tropical wool, printed satin and combed silk. The whole knitwear collection is made with 100% Merino wool, wool-cotton blends and organic cotton fiberes dyed with natural origin substances.
