The Ballet Shoes #2

I'm afraid to say you guys are stuck with me posting this Saturday as Queen Marie is attending a wedding this afternoon.

OK, I KNOW you are all probably bored rigid of ballet related posts, but I find it impossible not to write about something I am so passionate about. And I can't stop photographing my ballet shoes. They are truly things of beauty and I gaze upon them regularly. I rush home every night to practice and they are my favourite thing I own.

Inspite of the pain, putting them on is a pleasure unmatched. They get a little more battered with every wear yet look more lovely for it. These are getting pretty broken in now and it still amazes me how they appear so delicate yet are so strong as to allow you to suport your entire weight on your toes.
