Sending out prayers...

Oh what a dark day it is today.

At the weekend, I often lose track of what is happening in the world at large, as I may not read a newspaper or switch on my television until late at night. So I was stunned when Empress Gillian told me just over an hour ago, of the tragic events in Norway. 

I switched on the telelvision two minutes ago, to watch the news, only  to  hear it reported , that Amy WInehouse has been found dead at her home this afternoon. She was only 27 years old.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families and friends...
