Ready For Autumn
You've probably realised by now just how contrary we are in the Kingdom. Well, as the heat is Glasgow grows to uncomfortable levels, all I can think about is autumn!
Perhaps it's because I've quickly grown tired of being unable to escape the humidity. We just aren't used to this in Scotland. I adore the sunshine and I adore it not pissing with rain, but less of the degrees please! The reality is, by next week we'll be back to our normal cool weather and I'll be moaning about that.
But still, I'm thinking hard about autumn and days where I can wear big boots and jeans and leather again. I miss those days. I miss leather.
As well as autumn clothing, I'm thinking autumn jewels. I wear little jewellery in summer as my neck has enough to contend with with my thick hair - add jewellery and I'd die of heat exhaustion! Autumn however cries out for adornments. On my lust list is another piece of Moxham.
I've featured the work of Madeleine Moxham on here before, but her creations warrant many visits and many oohs and ahhs.
This season she has introduced some leg harnesses. Those Alexander Wangs sandals may have become somewhat ubiquitous, thanks in part to bloggers, but these are an edgier alternative.
