I can't believe it's here already

This weekend sees Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway bring their award-winning Vintage, UK’s Best New Festival as voted for in the 2010 Festival Awards, to Glasgow this Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th July as part of the Merchant City Festival celebrations.

Celebrating 7 decades of British Cool : The Music, Dance, Fashon, Food, Art, Design and film from the 1920's to the 1980's.

I just can't make up my mind what to go to first....

Festival goers can go glam with decade specific hair and beauty makeovers from the Vintage Salon or simply take in all the wonderful vintage shopping on offer. There will be opportunities to get creative in one of the many art, design and ‘Make Do & Mend’ workshops, experience exclusive catwalk shows, sample brilliantly conceived food and cocktails or join one of the daily dance classes lead by expert dance instructors. Oh – and don’t forget...The dress up is just as important as the ‘get down’ so pick a decade and dress glamorous!
