Coat Rationalisation

Every winter, without fail, I find myself in the grip of a coat obsession. I can easily end up with 3 or 4 new coats each winter season (much to Prince B's chagrin). I usually have one proper winter coat, which is the failsafe for all cold weather, and the other coats for days which are milder allowing me to wear more fashion-led outerwear.

Should you follow me on Pinterest, you'll see my most recent images in my Fashion & Style board mostly feature coats of some sort. These are my current favourite images which are inspiring my coat thoughts.

Coats

My 'blancmange' coat purchase set off a pastel and pale outerwear obsession. The cheering pastel hue really brightens any outfit I wear and whilst it's not suitable for the the coldest weather, on milder days it's now the first thing I reach for. Of course, the downside of wearing something so often is that I'm finding it's getting a little bobbly because of the fuzzy texture. Have I just rationalised myself into a new coat? I think I might have.
