When Life Gives You Lemons....

For Love & Lemons is an LA based label, designed by Gillian Mahin and Laura Hall. The label creates gorgeous seperates that have that cool, downtown LA vibe labels like this do so well.

Gillian Mahin was born and raised in Wyoming and gained her Fashion Design Degree at FIDM. After completing her studies, she headed off to Australia to intern for Bec & Bridge. After learning everything she could from the country and being completely inspired by Australian fashion, Gillian packed up her internship knowledge and headed to Los Angeles. From then on it was history in the making as For Love & Lemons was born…

Originally from Minnesota, the second founder of For Love & Lemons, Laura Hall, moved to Wyoming when she was 12, becoming friends with Gillian Mahin. Laura gained a Business Degree at the University Of Colorado and, like Gillian, headed to Australia after her studies. Whilst there, she interned at One Teaspoon. 

I'm really loving the most recent collection however, which is basically entirely underwear. Velvet and lace take the form of high waisted knickers and bra tops, sexy bodysuits and cheeky slips. There is literally nothing here I wouldn't wear, but I particularly adore the pale pink velvet knicker and bralette set.

I think I see a pink velvet gap in my underwear drawer....
