through the maze...

It's Saturday, so today I am going to let the shots do the talking. 

This is the "Maze" collection for AW 15/16 collection from Scandanavian label Orphan Bird founded in 2012 by an Italian designer, Ciro Supino, and  Swedish photographer/visual artist, Sara Lohman. Together they combine to create a concept from both their respective cultures and backgrounds to create unique aesthetic designs. 

Maze” is inspired by interconnected pathways and delusive turns, to overcome the form of bewilderment and to find a state of orientation ( so they tell me!)

The collection composes criss-crossed layers and harsh angular cut-outs which propound a far more eccentric take on an overall soft silhouette. The recurring color scheme of black and white accomodates an uninterrupted minimal element...
