Art and Aunts...

Sometimes it feels like my nieces Princess Laura and Jenny are growing up so fast, there must be something wrong amiss with the space time continuum

Laura is already taller than me, is sportier and can draw and paint better.

Jenny can bake better, and can origami and craft me under the table.

Sometimes I feel like the least creative, most incompetent Aunt in the world!

But as yet, none of them can drive (as far as I know) so I am still the one in charge of driving the car this weekend as we all head into join the lovely people at Cass Art...

We are going to be like kids in a sweet shop and I can't wait to get my paws on the new Viridian tote bag. I love these...

Of course it goes without saying we won't be able to see eye to eye over what to spend our precious pocket money on.My money is going on this fantastic fan kit. At only £4.99 it's a scoop.

Talking of seeing eye to eye, we all almost came to blows last night in my mums, when Laura got us all involved in the "what colour is the dress " drama.

I saw it as Blue and black but ten minutes later when it looked again it was white and gold!

We then subjected ourselves to all kinds of optical illusions. The most devisive being this one below. Half of us could see the shapes moving while the other half could see nothing at all...
