You'll need your toothbrush...

It's not very often we issue a health warning at the start of a post!

However when needs must we do.

So take heed gentle reader and go and fetch your toothbrush now. You will need it after the sugary delicious concoctions I am about to show you.

No it's not cakes but the creations from the Delpozo Spring 2016 show.

Oh lordy, this will give you a sugar rush....

There are a few shows I look forward to every season to transport me somewhere else ( even if I don't always like where we end up!) Marni, Rodarte and Delpozo are three of them. Josep Font always makes clothes that take my breath away. He creates clothes for a life I will never have but can still imagine. A life where I waft around in tulle, silk, embroidery, weaves and sequins. The man also understands the importance of a good pocket. Never underestimate how much we love a pocket here in The Kingdom!

Font said he was inspired, by Federico Garcia Lorca’s “Gypsy Ballads” and Emilie Flöge, the fashion-loving muse of Gustav Klimt.

It's not just the dresses, take a careful look at the shoes. Metallic and wood wedges covered in beads and sequins. Can't you just imagine the wonderful noise they will make when you walk.

If you have a spare 15 minutes, pop over to the Delpozo site and watch the utterly charming show online. Keep your eyes peeled for Iris looking fabulous in the front row.
