Oh you canny beat a bit of the Glasgow Banter especially at Christmas time!

Just in time for the Festive Season,  Glasgow Living is launching a brand new online store! ‘Glasgow’s Finest’ is a unique online store showcasing the best of Scotland's local independent bespoke creative talent. This offers a great opportunity for home-grown individual creators and designers to engage and trade with a Scottish audience on a global level.

I'm especially loving everything created by Lisa Donati who describes herself as a “born and bred Glaswegian wi a passion for the patter”.

The inspiration for the products came from Lisa’s late grandmother, Kate Scoot who is described as “a mistress of the banter”. If it’s unusual Glaswegian gifts you’re after, LD is the perfect place. Formed in 2011, with designs incorporating Glaswegian slogans, ‘slaggings’ and “gallus patter”, mugs, magnets and coasters are printed in-house by hand.  The range also features Geordie, Scouse, Manc, London and Irish designs...
