resin window to a mermaid...

It's not every day you can look down at your hand and see a tiny mermaid combing her hair!

But then it's not every day you will be wearing a resin ring by German artist Isabell Kiefhaber She creates tiny worlds that can perch upon your finger.  Creating tiny scenes that depict people playing at the beach and going about their daily lives, mermaids doing their hair, happy horses and even inanimate objects such as cupcakes

Combining her love to get creative and work with her hands with her love for truly unique jewellery the series “Geschmeide unter Teck” was born (“Jewels below Teck”). Teck is actually a castle located close to Stuttgart which Kiefhaber has the pleasure of overlooking whilst working. You can find them all on etsy and she will even do bespoke orders allowing you to create your own little universe for your finger. She also does pendants and earrings too. Find out more here.

I love design. I love to work meticulously. I love to work with my hands. I love unique jewellery. Because of this love, the idea to "Geschmeide unter Teck" is founded ("Jewels below Teck"). Teck? Teck is a lovely castle at the edge of the "Swabian Alb", a unique region closed to Stuttgart, which I see in front of my window.

I'm not sure how I feel about the sterling silver popcorn ring but it sure is pretty. But I think my favourite has to be one, that would be perfect for Queen Michelle in honour of her top DIY skills - this little dressmaking ring below.
