Friday Frills

This time the ruffles and frill come from London/Taipei based label ShuShu/Tong, who's SS16 collection, entitled Girl Gang, features my two current loves - gingham and frills.

The label is designed by Liushi Lei and Yutonj Jiange who both recently graduated from London College of Fashion with an MA in Fashion Design Technology. 

Ruffles ruffles everywhere. 

Another day, another brand who are creating exquisite garments featuring ruffles and frills aplenty.

There is not a single piece in this youthful but beautifully tailored collection I would not wear. They describe their work as combination of "grunge street style" with a tailored finish.

They are already on the road to success as Lane Crawford purchased their first collection after they graduated. Currently there doesn't appear to be any UK stockists that I can find unfortunately, as I'd love to buy some of those glorious gingham pieces such as the top above and the first dress.
