make like a mermaid....
Halpern Autumn/Winter 2017 Ready-To-Wear Collection
I've been tardy in making this declaration -
Michael Halpern. I love you.
Only you could combine Cher, Bob Mackie and studio 54, to create such glorious glittering drama.
Whether under the sea or on a dance floor your Autumn Winter collection makes my heart skip.
For his first solo runway show. Halpern said he was channeling the “hardcore luster” of the Seventies. After completing a BA at the prestigious Parsons School of Design, Michael Halpern continued his studies at London’s inimitable Central Saint Martins.
Adding to the sequin splendour, he ramped up the collection’s sense of drama with satin bustiers featuring glorious sweeping trains. Be still my beating heart.
He's already worked for J. Mendel and Oscar de la Renta and he also consults for Versace's couture wing, Atelier Versace. I've no doubt he is going to become a red carpet favourite very very quickly.

This post is up shockingly early on a saturday for me, but I'm just heading in to see Queen Michelle at her Bloggers shop event. If you're in Glasgow today, remember to pop up and see her on the top floor of Buchanan Galleries and snap up a piece from her wonderful wardrobe.
