On first glance through the Tsumori Chisato Pre Spring 18 look book, I once again marvelled at the lightness of her touch to create pieces that are sweet wth out being saccharine. Whimsical yet not twee. That's not an easy feat to pull off season after season the way she does, making her another rare designer that both Queen Michelle and I enjoy hugely.
That first image above made me think of a little flower fairy, she looks like a little sweet pea. A flower that I dearly love but have no luck whatsoever trying to grow.

With her innovative and luxurious textiles, intricate beading, embroidery, appliqués and prints of her own design, these are graceful, elegant and fun at the same time
Of course it goes without saying that what I am most smitten with is the pom pom shoes and the marvellous boots with wavy fringing on the side. I've been trying to find a close up shot of them to no avail yet. Harumph.
