Who doesn't love a Pendleton blanket.
We have real weakness for them here in The Kingdom, despite the fact that we have come across very few real ones. Much as I love them turned into coats, they look even better when used on a chair!
Canadian furniture company Gus* Modern has teamed up with textile brand Pendleton Woolen Mills on a limited edition trio of lounge chairs. Three of Gus* Modern’s most recognizable chairs – the Elk Chair, Halifax Chair, and GT Rocker – have been transformed with the addition of the southwestern-inspired jacquard patterns, perfectly elevating the mid-century modern aesthetic to a colorful, new level.
The patterns used by Pendleton differ for each style, with the more industrial Halifax Chair coming with a Southwest-inspired black and ivory wool finish, while the GT Rocker comes in black and red “Walking Rock,” and the Elk chair comes with a more colorful “Rancho Arroyo” jacquard design. The full limited-edition collection is available now from the Pendleton Canada web store and select retailers, with prices ranging from $1795 CAD (approx. $1485 USD) to $1995 CAD (approx. $1650 USD).
Oh you lucky lucky Canadians, what I wouldn't give for one of these in the palace...
