Ravel Redux Pt1

Ravel Resurrected

Now there’s a blast from the past. I owned quite a lot of Ravel shoes in my youth and even in the early days of the blog. I was sad when it closed it doors as it used to create shoes that gave a nod to the less obvious designers on the catwalk, such as Ann Demeulemeester.

Imagine my surprise when the brand reached out to me recently asking to send me some shoes. Was it a call from the grave? Had Ravel risen from the dead? It would appear that they, at some point, did exactly that! They asked me to select a couple of pairs of shoes to style up from the website and I did not even hesitate. Call me nostalgic but I had to know what Ravel were like now.

I chose two pairs so today I’m sharing the first pair which are leopard heels called, Doyle. I fecking love these! I really wasn’t expecting them to be as comfy as they are and I plan to wear them to an Xmas night out I have with the design agency I’m freelancing for and probably with this exact outfit.
