Simmering Zimmermann
Zimmermann SS19
My weakness for a flower print is endless. Whether it’s a big bold rose or a ditzy daisy, I can’t shake my love for florals. I’ll wear them in winter, spring or summer, makes no difference to me. These flower print dresses from Aussie label Zimmermann are other level though. These are just exquisite. I’d be the happiest girl alive if I had the first or second dress here. The dresses are certainly not twee, in spite of the overload of florals. The collection was inspired by a campy Australian 70’s TV show called Number 96, which was all glamour and big hair.
My days of wearing tight silhouette all the way from top to bottom are coming to an end, so instead I favour this kind of fit and flare shape for dresses. It’s sexy without being overt. As always, I just need to win that damn lottery.
