Time to come in Bear...

Today the sun is shining outside.

Which while it is lovely to see, can make it harder for people to stay inside. Especially young children who might not understand why they can’t go outside to play with their friends or go and visit their Grandma or Grandpa.

At this stressful time, it is heartening to see so many community organisations come together to help each other and the communities they serve. Putting together online hubs where they can share helpful resources and information.

The NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are doing everything they can to supporting Children and Young People during COVID-19.

During the pandemic they don't want any of our children, young people or their families to feel abandoned, so they have put together some wonderful resources to help.

If you know someone with young or vulnerable children it might be worth sending them the link, regardless of where you are in the world. Kindness, empathy and understanding are the same in any language.

When you stop and think about it calmly, it’s astonishing how quickly everything you took for granted has been turned on its head. When I’m watching a film or programme all I can think is - look how many people are there and how close together they all are.

Maybe Nurse Dotty needs to have a word with me and tell me to calm down.
