R NUMBER

With endless talk of R numbers in the news now, I wanted to lift the mood with a different kind of R number, namely R13.

R13 is a denim label designed by Chris Leba and based in New York. Aesthetically it features everything I want in clothes - camouflage, destroyed denim, fringes, western details, animal prints - you name it, the brand has it. However, it’s prohibitally priced, with a pair of jeans hovering around the £500 mark and a plaid shirt an absurd £430. So it’s a case of admiring the clothing and styling and I think there’s even a few DIY options here.
