Shout At The Devil
Motley Crue were one of my favourite bands as a young teen. My glam metal phase was my favourite phase as I loved getting dressed up in scarves, tons of jewellery, shiny tight trousers and anything else I could get my hands on. Spending all my pocket money scouring charity shops for paisley and animal print shirts and rest on saving up for skin tight PVC trousers. I think actually it was those days that cemented my enjoyment of experimenting with clothing and wearing whatever the hell I wanted.
metal to the core
It also proved to be the core of my style for the rest of my life. I can dress in many different ways but I really am happiest in shiny PVC.
This is a typical outfit from the blog in 2009 for example. Snakeprint blazer, animal print shirt and, of course, PVC leggings.
I’m working hard to get that figure back, and that length of hair too, but I don’t need to work at getting the outfit as I just need to look in my wardrobe and there is already tons of pieces that can create some variant of this look, which I did earlier in the week.
