Zero to Hero...
One of the lovely things about running a blog for a long time is that you get see people grow and flourish in all kinds of creative endeavours.
We have been sharing the creations of the lovely Becky Wignel from Swank Jewellery for many many years. Her pieces always make me smile. That smile got even broader when I read about her idea to create Zero Waste pieces.
Becky explains her fiendish plan saying
I've been saving up the offcuts from the laser cutting process for years because I didn't want to throw them in the bin. Now I've finally got round to creating sustainable jewellery with them. I've loved the process of matching shapes, textures and colours together to create pleasing designs. All perspex is 100% recycled, re-used off cuts from my other designs. All have a gold plated stud back.
Becky will even make you an individual design, you just need to email her and let her know which colours you would like to use and she’ll make something you'll love.

Today is VE day, so I’m sure like us you have been taking time to remember all of those who came before us and say Thank You.
I know that staying in during lockdown can be difficult but that is a tiny price to pay to keep everyone safe.
