Today’s post is about soap.

Specifically, the soap produced by dessein.

Who knew your imagination could be caught by such an everyday thing. dessein is a collection of truly natural cold processed soaps made by hand using delicious-sounding organic ingredients like atlas cedarwood, bourbon geranium, green tangerine and ylang ylang.

By combining simple and precious ingredients like clays, botanicals and vegetable oils, dessein soaps soothe and moisturize the skin while offering mixed subtle scents and an abundant creamy lather.
Each soap is consciously formulated by choosing every ingredient with purpose, and mindfulness of its benefits to your skin and effect on the environment.

What makes them so captivating though is the colours and graphic shapes. They look like little miniature sketches by an architect.

All soaps are palm oil-free and do not contain parabens, SLS/SLES, petrochemicals, artificial colours and fragrances, and animal products.For packaging and shipping, we banned plastic to offer high-quality items made from recycled fibres. Each soap is made and packaged with care in our workshop located in France.
