For Those Who Prey
I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m at my wits end with this lockdown pish. I’m trying to keep it together, but it’s getting harder every day. We’re much further behind than England in terms of what we can do, for no real reason that I can see as our numbers are far lower than England, so if shit doesn’t start to ease after Sturgeon’s announcement this coming Thursday, then I’m coming to England just to see a fucking shop and other people! So I don’t know what you are all praying for, but I’m praying for some kind of return to normal life.
Speaking of praying, For Those Who Pray [ftwp] is a slow fashion Tel Aviv-based label founded by Avigail Talmor, a multidisciplinary designer and design tutor. After working for many years as a senior designer with a vast practical knowledge in metalwork and various materials, Talmor decided to establish a niche brand for fashion accessories made of leather which can “provide an ‘Anti-Bling’ alternative to jewelry as we know it”.
FTWP objects are handmade in limited editions when each piece is one of a kind and slightly differs from one another. Each piece of black leather is unique so shades may vary. Each piece is made using byproducts of the fashion industry, handpicked pieces of leather promise the right combination of textures and exact shades of black.
I love all the jewellery of course because duh, but I confess it’s the bags that have me really excited. I’ve been desperate for an edgy leather everyday bag and all of these fit the bill perfectly.
