You might recall I featured jewellery brand OSS recently.

Well, I noticed after I’d written the post they had a little sale on, so I took the chance to grab one of their pieces, the glorious Cytokines ring. They teamed up with Copenhagen-based designer Tobias Birk Nielsen for a collection of handmade accessories, of which this ring was part, inspired by the limits of human strength, ‘UNDR TH SKN’ which offered 8 disparate pieces crafted from oxidized sterling silver.

The smallest size on their website for rings is a 6, which is fine for my middle finger and sometimes my index finger too, depending on the ring, but I wanted this for my ring finger so I asked if it was possible to make it in a size 5 for me instead and they told me that each piece is handmade to they can make it any size required. I was utterly thrilled as my ring fingers rarely gets adorned as rings never come that small unless they’re adjustable.
