a little art with your tea...

Let’s start with an apology for my late posting this week.

My gran always used to say “old age doesn’t come itself”

This week I’ve been having visual migraines and disturbances. Which is both disconcerting and a pain in the arse when trying to work on a computer all day. It also makes it a little difficult to look at pretty pictures and drink tea which is helping keeping me sane.

So what could could be more perfect for a lazy Sunday than a wee look at ‘Shattered’ the 3d teacups mural by Leon Kerr which he has created in Helsingborg in Sweden where a precarious stack of teacups look ready to tumble and fall of the side of the building into the street below.

The artwork draws attention to the fragility of our earth, depicting four china cups, each of which representing a different environmental danger. For this piece he also combined anamorphic art with augemented reality , which will allow viewers to scan the painting with their smartphone or tablet and see it come to life

Needless to say I can’t really be arsed with all that.

I would rather just stand in the street and admire his creations as they are…
