If you are living in Central Scotland then you should be getting ready to check out The Princes Square Collective

Every weekend in October until Christmas in the heart of Princes Square, they are showcasing a number of traders from start-ups to larger independent brands to give you something different each week

This weekend those sassy sequinned girls from Isolated Heroes will be taking over the Collective on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October 2021. Dundee-based brand, Isolated Heroes specialise in hand-embellished and embroidered items and are renowned for their innovative use of luxury faux fur and sequins.

Launched in 2012 by CEO Samantha Paton, off the back of her acclaimed graduate collection, themes in the collections include empowerment and transformation and are ever-present in its trademark unisex style, not only blurring the lines of gender but celebrating body positivity, with collections stocked from size 6 to size 28.

The team will be bringing a selection of sustainable glam partywear to Glasgow including accessories, new embroidered collars, mini dresses, sequin motif sweaters. All handmade by Isolated Heroes.

The brand has a zero-waste approach, meaning that all pieces are handmade in small batches or on a made-to-order basis, and any scrap pieces of fabric are made into face coverings and other accessories, so their sustainability credentials are second to none.

You will be able to see all of their wonderful creations including their fun Halloween Collection.

The striking make up was by the talented and lovely Poppy Fenton.

With everything being made in their Dundee studio they also work on commissions and even do Bridal wear. It goes without saying that they bring fun and sequins to that too…
