I’m super busy with work again so blogging is going to be quick and dirty once again, until I clear my feet.

Knitwear season is in full swing. I actually bought a jumper a few weeks ago. Me! And actual jumper! I have been obsessing over these glorious knitted creations in the Dolce & Gabbana FW20 collection. Big black jumpers, knitted shorts and thigh highs socks. The collection was a tribute to all the artisans who actually produce the D&G creations.

Black-and-white videos of il calzolaio (the shoemaker), la sarta (the seamstress), la magliaia (the knitter), la tessitrice (the weaver), la cravattaia (the tie maker), and more played on video screens, and in the Metropol’s foyer artigiani sat at work benches and posed with guests. “It’s very Italian, like the menswear,” Gabbana said of the collection in a preview. “It’s a tribute through our eyes to tradition.”
