Elegantly Unstructured

I must apologise for only posting once last week. I finally got some work in but of course it came in when I’m currently in the middle of prepping for giving a Zoom workshop on UX Design, so I’m against the clock in many ways right now! So a quick outfit post from me today.

For a few days last week it really felt like spring was well and truly on its way. The sun was shining and the thermometer reached nearly double digits. Nearly. It was time to show a bit of leg! Only a tiny bit of leg mind you.

Still lots of layering happening though. I shared it over on Instagram and said that I didn’t subscribe to the traditional lexicon of elegant, instead this head-to-toe Rick Owens outfit was my version of elegant. The silhouette feels neat, tailored and pulled together, even though it’s actually made of very unstructured pieces, such as the loose leather top worn over a jacket, the baggy drop-crotch trousers and clumpy wedges.
