Keep It Tight(s)

A few weeks ago I posted an outfit with tights and mentioned I rarely wear tights these days, but when I do they have to have some kind of pattern or at least be a colour that isn’t solid black. I stopped wearing tights as much as I got used to being comfortable with bare legs for the first time in 2018 - before that I really hated my pale, pasty legs. But moving to a flat where I could enjoy the sun via open French windows allowed me to get some colour without having to walk about with my Scottish blue skin for hours first. Turns out, I really wasn’t supposed to be as pale as I was because my skin didn’t just tan, it has changed colour permanently. My natural skin colour is now much warmer, even without sun. I’d been starving my skin of Vitamin D for nearly my whole life.

Anyway, I digress. Back to tights.

Over the last few weeks I wore a few outfits featuring black tights with stars and spots. These are my favourite as they are an easy way to add additional prints to an outfit.

Kingdom favourite, Lazy Oaf, have some truly cheering tights in the collection now. The weather is getting closer to summer but it’s chilly enough in some places to partake of fun, printed tights. The pink and red heart ones are especially awesome. I think I need red love hearts in my life right now.
