Wistful for Wisteria...

I have always adored Wisteria.

They are in full bloom just now. As I drive along, every time I spy one out of the corner of my eye, I slow down to admire it with slightly envious eyes.

My darling Mum bought me several of them and I tried my best to get them to grow but so far the Scottish weather has thwarted my attempts.

I spotted a beautiful one yesterday and it made me think of this glorious dress above from Jasper Conran’s Spring 2020 ready to wear collection.

In the minds of most British people , poor Jasper is so associated with designing for the beleaguered and now defunct Debenhams that people forget that he is a ‘real’ designer.

A quick look at these stunning images would surely have them looking at Jasper with fresh new eyes…
