Peanut Feet...

While Queen Michelle is unwavering in her love for that pesky beagle Snoopy, my affections lie more with poor beleaguered Charlie Brown, Lucy and Pigpen.

My poor old Charlie Brown vans are well worn, so I decided to treat myself to a pair of Peanuts x Marc Jacobs Comic Joggers. I’m pleased to say they have arrived and what fun they are.

It’s very very warm here today, so given the fact that I am useless in the heat, I’m just going to show you some bright and jolly pictures of my new shoes.

The sole in particular made me laugh as anyone who knows me well, will testify that I have never jogged a day in my life. I don’t think slightly picking up speed as I approach a cake shop counts!

It’s the start of the Fair Fortnight here in Glasgow today which is when all the workers used to take their annual summer holiday and head ‘doon the water’ to the seaside.

I used to love Fair Friday as all the adults would give you money for your ‘fairing’. So I’m just telling myself that I’m buying them in their stead.
