ON THE ROAD…

After a year off thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Pirelli Calendar is back for 2022.

Photographed by singer and photographer Bryan Adams ( who is looking very well at 61) his year’s theme is ‘On The Road’ a study of the lives of touring musicians- a subject he can easily relate to after decades touring the world.

The images were photographed at two Los Angeles Landmarks: The 110 year old downtown Palace Theater and the well-known Hollywood hotel to the stars, the Chateau Marmont on Sunset Boulevard and in stylish Capri.

Featuring musical talent including Cher, Grimes, Jennifer Hudson, Normani, Rita Ora, Bohan Phoenix, Iggy Pop, St. Vincent, Kali Uchis and Saweetie, it’s intended “as a kind of journey bringing together artists of very different nationalities, musical genres, ages and professional backstories,”
