Yulia Yefimtchuk

What a world we’re living in. I never imagined in my lifetime I would be watching a war play out in Europe. It’s frightening and unbelievable yet here we are. I know we are all hoping for a resolution soon and for the Ukrainian people to be able to go back to living in peace once more.

Today I’m featuring an amazing Ukrainian designer, Yulia Yefimtchuk+. The label launched in 2015 in Kyiv and specialises in conceptual womenswear and unisex collections with simple silhouettes and strong elements of workwear, uniform with bold prints with cyrillic slogans. In 2014 their FW14-15 capsule collection was nominated for the Opening Ceremony Distinction award during Hyeres Festival. And in 2015 Yulia Yefimtchuk+ was shortlisted for the prestigious Woolmark Prize.

I love the mashup of streetwear and hyper-feminine shapes. And spotty tights are always a good idea.
