Yum, yum, sit...

Apologies for the lack of posting this week.

There has been much to deal with here in The Kingdom.

Say hello to the Yum Yum chair designed by Lapo Ciatti for Italian brand Opinion Ciatti.

They are an Italian furniture brand founded in 1950 by Rolando Ciatti. The brand designs and manufactures furniture and accessories for the home, workplace and common areas.

They design furniture that ‘stir emotions while taking care of the people who use them’.

Designed to be used in waiting rooms, professional offices, hotel lounges, restaurants, boutiques, as well as in private homes, the Yum Yum seating collection is a range of pouf-like seats with a curved ash wood backrest. In Yum Yum, a warm, plump seat meets a Nordic and minimalist backrest.

It comes a single armchair, two-seater sofa or an extra-large armchair . They describe the seat as expressing "joy, conviviality, discovery and imagination".

We like to think of creating "spices and sauces" that flavor your spaces, just like in the kitchen, spices and sauces, if wisely dosed, can flavor dishes and inebriate the senses. All without neglecting the reliability, efficiency, and ethics that have always characterized our company, proud to preserve our history and with the desire to anticipate future needs.

It is indeed yum yum to look at but I’m guessing that anyone with a sore knee, sore back or just a stiff arse like me, is going to struggle big time to get up and down from one of these things with any degree of grace 🤣.
