UK based label Clara Pinto produce intricate, experimental textiles usinng innovative crafting techniques all constructed in their Hackney Studio. They specialise in made-to-order womenswear using their signature non-traditional felting approach, where they layer various fabrics in between felts, linking them together and generating irregular volumes and transparencies.
“Wool is our most valued resource and, with every season, we introduce new breeds - contributing quality, new exciting textures and beautiful shades to each collection. Embellishments have great significance in our design, and product of our constant search for vintage rare sequins and beads. Every piece is filled with a unique story and irreplaceable aesthetic. In 2021 we launched a Crystal Embroidered Jewellery line in collaboration with Swarovski and stocked at Anthropologie EU.”
