The designer, who is based in Chicago, has been hugely inspired by history -"Renaissance aesthetic and her admiration for the technical abilities of the Ancients". Everything is handmade in gold and she incorporates precious and semi precious stones in her pieces.

The history buff in me wants everything!

I was never into gold until recently and only now do I feel somehow old enough to wear it without feeling tacky. It's almost as if I feel only now have I earned the right to wear it. Next up - beige slacks.
