Genuine actual pieces of Moon Dust have been captured in the prettiest of glass teardrop vials; how many people can say they're wearing the Moon for real? This is a very special necklace!

In fact it is so special EE have only made 100 of them.

This is a really significant and delightful piece to be made by the company, as founder and chief designer, Lucy Crick is a former Astronomy degree student and has been a dedicated star gazer since she was a little girl...

So how exactly have they caught the Moon?

The sample of Lunar dust in the necklace comes to you courtesy of the Lunar meteorite NWA 4881 which fell to Earth in 2005.

Such Moon meteorites are pretty rare and only 180 known examples have been discovered and verified.

The specimen dust is captured in a glass pendant finished with a 14/20 K Gold Fill star and hung from an 18" Sterling Silver chain. The pendant measures 4cm long and will arrive presented in an Eclectic Eccentricity gift box with a full description of the meteorite...

I have seriously been trying to persuade myself that it's not too early to buy myself a very special early Christmas present!!!
