A Prince among men...

Dame Westwood has paid tribute to Prince Charles and 'the great job he is doing' by featuring him in her latest menswear collection shown in Milan at the weekend.

It looked slightly surreal to see Charlie printed that large and venuturing down a catwalk.

An image of Prince Charles, wearing an Army beret, featured heavily in the show – and Dame Westwood told guests she had 'adopted Prince Charles as patron of the collection'. Describing the royal as an 'eco warrior', Westwood  said: ''If Prince Charles had ruled the world according to his priorities during the last 30 years, we would be all right and we would be tackling climate change.' She also described how the Prince of Wales has helped raise awareness of organic farming and climate change over the years.

Looking at the image below, I'm willing to bet  that my brother is relieved that my dearest wee gran isn't arround to see that balaclavas have become a fashion item.

She used to knit them for him and they were so tight and itchy, that on more than one occassion , my mother had to almost cut him out of them...
