Chloe in Chateau de Beauregard...
'Tis a miracle, we actually got some sunshine this week, but as I type this, the sky is overcast and it's starting to rain, so these Autumnal offerings are the perfect thing to share this dull Saturday.
Unlike Queen Michelle in days gone by, I'm not a huge Chloe fan but in their email which popped into the inbox yesterday about their Fall 2015 collection, they used that work 'folkloric', so naturally I had to go and take a look.
To be perfectly honest this is not a word I would have used to describe this collection although if I were 20 years younger and five stone lighter, I would love to try on those jaunty blue sailor pants...
They described the collection saying - "WE WERE LOOKING AT THE GLAM ROCK OF DAVID BOWIE AND MARC BOLAN MIXED WITH THE SOFTER SIDE OF KATE BUSH.", SAID CREATIVE DIRECTOR CLARE WAIGHT KELLER, OF HER INSPIRATION FOR THE CHLOÉ FALL 2015 COLLECTION.
KATE CAME FROM A DREAMY COUNTRYSIDE IDYLL TO THE GRUNGE OF THE CITY – BUT ALWAYS KICKED AROUND IN HER BROTHERS' COATS AND LEATHER JACKETS."
They photographed the collection amongst the bucolic disrepair of the Chateau de Beauregard in Lower Normandy, to tell an evocative tale of the modern Chloé girl .
As always Queen Michelle is a step ahead of the curve. Just look at those bags on the left!!!!
