eleven all around...

So how many eleven's did you spot this Halloween. I came across quite a few. There was even one turned up at my mums front door. I had an almost impossible task trying to explain to my mum about stranger things. My father wanted to know too but he kept asking what eggos were. To be honest I don't know!

Just in case you didn't know, Stranger Things is a television series created by the Duffer Brothers. It was released as a Netflix original series premiere on July 15, 2016. The show takes place in Indiana in 1983 for the first season and  focuses on the disappearance of a young boy called Will Byers.

It has been wildly popular with it's uncanny ability to push everyone's nostalgia buttons. It feels like classic Steven Spielberg meets Stephen King meets every favourite 80's movie ever made. combined.

Then this week, things went even stranger, when it was transformed into another childhood favorite, A Charlie Brown Christmas. Leigh Lahav & Oren Mendez have taken the characters from the world of Stranger Things and animated them in the style of Charles Schultz’ loveable Peanuts characters, and presented a new animated Christmas tale. It's beyond wonderful.

They have even managed to convey that Charlie Brown-esque sense of ennui. Glorious
