Driven By Lush

A few weeks ago I reviewed the Lush eyeliner. The colour was utterly magnificent but unfortunately it smudges on my oily skin within a couple of hours, even with my heavy duty Urban Decay eyeshadow primer. However, the colour impressed me so much I decided to try their lipstick.

Just Drive

I chose the colour Drive as my first purchase. It's a purple-y pink and it reminded me of Kat Von D Studded Kiss lipstick in L.U.V. which I've been dying to get my hands on.

VERDICT

To put it simply - this lipstick is amazing.

The colour is a cool, blue hued pink and it has remarkable staying power without drying out your lips. Because all the Lush products are made of entirely natural ingredients, you can actually wear the eyeliner on your lips and the lipstick on your eyes! In my usual spirit of DIY, I decided I wanted this lipstick to be a bit more purple, so I simply dipped some of my purple eyeliner into the lipstick bottle to deepen the shade and it worked a treat.

They have a great variety of colours from a bright orange to an array of beautiful reds. I think I might try the bright orange and a red next...and every colour in between!
