I shall begin by apologising for this rather short and sweet post today. I am currently in the process of designing a website with a particularly horrible deadline!

So just when I was talking about how we might just be starting to finally get some proper spring weather here in Glasgow, no sooner was it out my mouth when I looked out the window and it was snowing. Snowing in April! It's been back to heavy duty layers and hats for me.

Maybe when the UK catches onto the fact it's supposed to be spring I could look to investing in some of these rather beautifully crafted pieces from Georgian label MATÉRIEL.

Beautifully minimal but utilising interesting fabrics, such as matte PVC, and unusual cuts and silhouettes, often oversized but never cumbersome. I think Queen Marie might appreciate the wonderful padded black sandals too. In fact, just send us one of everything...
