falling into you...

It's a J. W. Anderson love- in on the blog this week.

Get ready to grin.

His fall 2017 show had me smiling the biggest smile I've had for months. You may remember last year, Queen Michelle was sporting some big sleeve action, well get ready to see some insanely long sleeve action courtesy of Mr Anderson.

The innovative and glorious JW described the collection as “falling into a womb of fashion,” and dispatched a procession of models in multilayered, oversize knits and chunky outerwear pieces.

I'm a huge sucker for crochet. In fact as I type I can see at least threee crochet blankets tucked on the arms of my couch and chairs but never did I think I would see them appear in a menswear collection!  

“Something cozy and deeply protective,” he explained during his backstage talk, to describe his offerings for the men’s fall 2017 season, “where the buildup of a wardrobe can almost become part of a defense mechanism, like a modern armour.” 

Lets be honest, the world is a scary old place at the minute and with The Trumpton getting ready to sit in the big chair ( still can't get my head around that fact) you couldn’t blame Mr. Anderson for thinking about protection. Even if crochet isn't going to help you much if he presses the big red button!!!!
