Autumn blossom...
With the leaves already starting to fall, I’m looking at the last few flowers in the garden starting to fade.
As I’ve got older and sadder, Autumn has been relegated to my second favourite season. Spring has taken first place. With it’s promise of rebirth and renewal, battling through another sucky winter to try again, you can’t mess with Spring.
But what I still love most about Autumn is the cosy factor. That chance to pile on the layers and start dressing with heavy snuggly fabrics. Cordoroy is right up there. So could this Roza jacket from I love lowie be any more perfect. Floral corduroy. Well yes it can because it’s also reversible to a cheering bright red on the other side. Happy days!
The roza print also works well in this pretty jumpsuit…
I’ve written about this brand before, because they make comfort clothes that are perfect for lazy weekends. Fair isle jumpers and dungarees, yes please. That red check tunic dress would be perfect for Queen Michelle to lounge around in at home.
