The other week Queen Marie and I were discussing my love of military jackets. It got me thinking about why I’ve always been so drawn to them. Any collection that features a beautifully buttoned, ornate military jacket will invariably get my attention.

As I shot an outfit for Instagram earlier in the week, featuring my fabulously orante Patrizia Pepe military-inspired blazer, it got me thinking about Adam And The Ants.

Adam Ant was my first ever crush when I was 8, in 1981. My walls were covered in posters of him and I would play his records over and over again. He was always in his Napolean-esque military jacket so I think that’s where my own love of these jackets originated.

So here I am, being my best Prince Charming.
