All That Glitters

As Queen Marie mentioned, we’re stuck in lockdown prison until mid-February and even then I think the Government is just trying to avoid saying we’ll be in lockdown down until everyone is vaccinated. I can’t bear it anymore. I want to go into a shop that isn’t Tesco, I want to get my haircut, I want to go back to ballet class, I want to go back to learning to drive. I just want my life back. The same as everyone else. So, as usual I have been trying to pacify myself by creating content for my Instagram, from workout videos to recipes but mostly outfits and when you’re really feeling sorry for yourself only sparkles will do.

So I brought out the sparkles last week to wear with my Born A Bad Seed tshirt.

The tshirt proved the perfect item to build my Story concept around.

I included music from Nick Cave and the Bads Seeds and a quote from the film The Bad Seeds. I get a lot out creating these kinds of graphic stories. A lot of my followers are a bit overwhelmed seeing stories used in this way, and can’t really relate, but to be honest I create them for me, so I am able to be creative on the platform. The video content I can’t include on here as the format is incompatible when it’s built into a story template sadly. The best part was using an app to add actual twinkling sparkle on the jacket, which creates a video, sadly again in a format that can’t be shared on here. But it looked awesome!

I have a backlog of outfits to share on here but I won’t bombard you with them. Yet!
