Chevalier d’éon
As I sit wearing a huge leopard scarf, and I can guarantee you Queen Marie is sitting somewhere also wearing a scarf or three, scarves are those items I for one don’t really give much thought to beyond them being something to keep me warm or something to add print or color to an outfit.
However French brand Chevalier d’éon, created in 2018, have a great passion for the humble square scarf. My favourite is the ‘Bandana’ because of my personal love of paisley pattern but each scarf is truly beautiful and would elevate any outfit.
Fleurs du mal
Elaborated by the knight during his exile on England, Fleurs du mal scarf offers a personal version of the famous Liberty floral prints. Its subtle details remind us implicitly the inexorable flight of time...
”Mors mihi lucrum”
BLADE
Wielding the sword to perfection, chevalier d’Eon was considered one of the finest swordsmen of his time. It is therefore quite natural that the brand has chosen to pay tribute to his fencing talents through its new silk scarfs collection - Blade.
A triptych collection that draws on this heritage to revisit classic geometric patterns.
An historical inspiration for cutting-edge creations.
BANDANA
Born in Asia minor in ancient times, paisley pattern symbolises prosperity, life and eternity for centuries.
At the end of 1700, paisley fabrics were brought back by the British East India Company, which popularized it in the West.
Chevalier d’éon in turn offers you a personal and revisited version of the iconic bandanas.
MONOGRAM
