Rivetting

One of the reasons I finally took the step to lose the extra weight I’d been slowly building up over the last 10 years was so I could wear some of my most favourite items from long ago, that no matter how much bigger I got I just couldn't face parting with. They represented a really happy time in my life so I could not possibly gift these pieces to friends or charity shops - they simply had to stay with me.

These Christopher Kane x Topshop leggings from 2009 being a case in point. I did have the matching bodysuit but even at the time I was never in love with it, so it got sold on a few years ago. But the leggings, with their mirrors and rivets, simply had to stay. I was so excited to wear them again with equally old, well everything really.
