Except perhaps if it was a ceramic creature from outer space.

Say hello to the Pebbles tribe. Discovered on the planet MRCX by illustrator and ceramic artist Monsieur Cailloux. The come in peace and cuteness.

An explorer eager for discoveries, Monsieur Cailloux roams the space aboard his spaceship, in search of new forms of life.After years of cosmic wanderings, from desert stars to arid systems, he lands on the planet MRCX and discovers there a form of life as intelligent as it is endearing: the Pebbles tribe.

Apparently they developed a third leg in order to gallop 200 miles per minute across their planet MRCX. In fact they run so fast that can break the sound barrier. Who am I to cast aspersion on that claim but their wonderfully blobby bodies don’t look like they are built for speed. But then appearances can be deceptive!
